In the morning we went to the main office of Blue Dart, a parcel shipping company, in Panaji, the capital of Goa, to send 73 rolls of film, from catching those moments of life at the Bihar School of Yoga, the Yoga Institute in Mumbai, with B.K.S. Iyengar, Rolf and Marci, and many more. This film material needs to find a safe way to the laboratory in Delhi, where it will be developed. Coni shoots on film, with a Hasselblad medium format camera. This load contains more than half of the pictures for the book ‘Yoga in India’.
It’s now the very end of the yoga season in Goa. We were lucky to see all the yoga centres and retreats still full of life. Many students will leave Goa these days, many of the places will close their doors this week or the week after. It’s just getting hotter and hotter here…
The time has come to say goodbye to Goa! We’ve been very positively surprised to find such authentic and inspiring yoga places in the middle of India’s top tourist destination.
We now fly back to Bangalore. Back home!
